ABAW extends a warm welcome to the members of the Shaoxing city council as they join us in Box Hill. ABAW is privileged to host the representatives of Whitehorse City’s sister city, Shaoxing City, as we unite to enhance the ties between China and Australia through trade and collaboration.

This visit is incredibly meaningful as we embark on a journey to uncover opportunities for economic exchange and partnership. By nurturing connections between our communities, our goal is to establish trade routes that will bring mutual benefit to both the City of Shaoxing and the City of Whitehorse, fueling growth and prosperity for all parties involved.

The Asian Business Association of Whitehorse (ABAW) is thrilled to be a part of an incredible initiative aimed at giving back to our community. It was a true pleasure for us to contribute to such a worthy cause by raising funds for Eastern Health.

ABAW stands firm in its commitment to support our local healthcare providers, and our recent efforts have been focused on assisting Eastern Health in acquiring a biplane angiography machine for Box Hill. We firmly believe in the importance of accessible and advanced healthcare for everyone in our community, and this was our way of showing our support.

Reflecting on the success of the 2024 ABAW Gala Dinner, held on the 12th of March at the Box Hill Town Hall, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who generously supported our cause. This annual fundraising gala, hosted by the Asian Business Association of Whitehorse, was a resounding success, bolstering our efforts to make a positive impact.

Through the collective contributions of our attendees, we raised crucial funds for the Eastern Health Foundation and International China Concern (ICC), enabling us to continue supporting essential healthcare initiatives and providing aid to those in need. The overwhelming generosity displayed at this event truly embodies the spirit of community and compassion.
